As the name suggests, Cold Brewing does not use heat during the brewing process. This means that, unlike the normal “hot” setting, the active CBG is not broken down or vaporized. With Cold Brewing, the active CBG content increases from the usual 4% to about 16% – a fourfold increase. To make a Cold Brew, let the CBG coffee sit in a percolator overnight. After 8-12 hours, filter the coffee grounds and enjoy a tasty and healthy cup of ”Cold Brew” CBG coffee.
Tip: make refreshing iced coffee by adding milk and ice cubes. Also very tasty with cold chocolate milk and a dash of whipped cream.
